Goals:

Our goal is to conduct measurements of BrO and ClO, and relate those measurements to snow surface measurements of Cl-, Br-, (and I-).

Measurement technique.

For BrO and ClO, we react these radicals with NO and trifluoropropene in a flow tube, and convert the radicals into the trifluorohaloacetone, which is separated and detected by GC/ECD.  We will measure Cl- and Br- by IC, and I- by ICPMS.
